Description
This was the very first project I did entirely in Illustrator...I left it half finished because the idea of doing the head dress overwhelmed me...but after about 6 months of getting better acquainted with Illustrator, I went back & finished it.My aim was to combine rich detail with minimal detail & realistic & stylised treatments, & to use negative space & a limited colour palette. It's a portrait of silent film star Louise Brooks.
