Description
Painter started crashing on me so I decided to attempt a painting in Photoshop. I'd tinkered around before with digi painting in PS, but never a complete work.I really wanted to see what I could do if I limited my tools...to emulate traditional media as much as possible...so I did this painting using only a hard round brush & eraser with varying flow & opacity...no smudge or blur, dodge & burn...no masks, selections, blending modes, etc...& minimal layers.
My aim was to create a piece reminiscent of 40s Surrealism...in style rather than subject matter.
Happily, I got a Daily Deviation for this at Deviant Art...& a Staff Pick at the Photoshop Café.
